In April, Portable faced legal trouble when he was arrested by the Ogun State Police Command. This arrest followed the singer’s refusal to comply with a police invitation. Prior to his arrest, videos had circulated on the internet showing the street artist using strong language and engaging in physical altercations with some members of the Nigeria Police.
In response to these incidents, the Ogun State Police Command issued a 72-hour ultimatum to Portable, instructing him to report to the nearest police station. This legal action was taken in light of his conduct captured in the viral videos.
