Timaya, Yobo, Others Attend Jay Jay Okocha’s ‘All White’ Birthday Party in Lagos (Video)

In a grand celebration in Lagos, legendary African footballers gathered to commemorate the 50th birthday of the former Nigerian midfielder, Jay Jay Okocha.

The iconic ex-footballer reached this milestone on August 14, and his outstanding contributions to the sport in Nigeria have solidified his status as one of the nation’s greatest football icons.

Notably, he played a pivotal role in the Super Eagles squad that secured victory in the Africa Cup of Nations in 1994 and played a crucial part in Nigeria’s gold medal win in the football event at the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996.

The 50th birthday celebration for Jay Jay Okocha drew a list of former African football legends, including Emmanuel Adebayor from Togo, Asamoah Gyan from Ghana, and Khalilou Fadiga from Senegal. Additionally, a host of ex-Nigerian footballers, such as Peter Rufai, Ifeanyi Udeze, Daniel Amokachi, Emmanuel Emenike, Julius Aghahowa, Joseph Yobo, and more, graced the event. Music star Timaya was also in attendance.

The festivities included an exhibition football match at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos, where the former internationals showcased their skills in a five-a-side game to the delight of fans in the stadium.
