Wizkid And I No Longer Speak – Slimcase

Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Slimcase, recently shared some insights into his past friendship with superstar singer, Wizkid. During an Instagram live session with fans, Slimcase revealed that he and Wizkid were once close friends, but their relationship changed over time due to differences in their careers.

Slimcase explained that as Wizkid‘s music career soared and he achieved greater success, their friendship naturally evolved. He made it clear that Wizkid didn’t intentionally distance himself from him, but their lives took different directions. Slimcase also acknowledged that he faced challenges in making significant progress in his music career, which contributed to their growing apart.

He said: “I know Wizkid when he was Wizkid, but I am not close to him when he is Big Wiz. He has climbed high mountains, and I couldn’t catch up with him, so I fell off. He didn’t cut me off.”
